OPEN POSITION: IT MANAGER / NETWORK ENGINEER

Seeking candidates with excellent leadership, planning, and project management skills to join our Astoria, Oregon group in the design, implementation, and management of IT infrastructure for our customer environments. In this role, you will be part of a small team responsible for supporting an infrastructure of physical and virtual servers including network equipment supporting customer sites. In addition to server and end-user support, this position is responsible for providing proactive network assessments and recommendations to our municipal government and corporate clients.

iFocus Consulting is a technology solution provider that offers technology consulting, managed care services, network monitoring, outsourced help desk services, disaster recovery planning, and network security designs and implementations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage our Network division staff and the prioritization of team's deliverables.
Perform operating systems installation and administration for Microsoft Windows servers within our clients managed networks.
Perform regular maintenance as required to customer network environments.
Monitor customer networks to improve performance, reliability and security.
Manage web content filtering using software and network appliances.
Perform Active Directory and GPO account management.
Utilize PowerShell Scripting for automation and task management.
Perform log management for servers, firewall & select appliances.
Take ownership of information security, proactive system monitoring and risk mitigation.
Provide detailed technical expertise in diagnosis and case resolution.
Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols.
Use acquired knowledge to influence and improve IT practices and technologies.
Interface with clients to provide a high level of customer service.

REQUIREMENTS
Education or experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Network Administration, or related field.
5+ years of experience in IT Operations, 2+ years of experience in managing technical staff.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with others.
Proven project management and decision-making capabilities.
Experience with creating and maintaining business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
Expertise in managing virtualized Windows server environments.
Ability to successfully manage/oversee multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
Expertise with VPN, Switching, and Firewall technology.
Expert level experience with Windows Clients, Office 365 and Microsoft Office Systems.

RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience with an IT solution provider
Prior experience providing support within a municipal government
Certifications in Microsoft or Cisco technologies

BENEFITS
Full time position.
Compensation: $68,000 - $80,000
